Introduction

Welcome to the Pine Stake 🌲, a validator node on the Solana blockchain dedicated to decentralization, onboarding new users, and empowering the Brazilian creative and technical communities.

Brazil is the 4th largest country in global internet usage (165.3M users), yet the Solana network has only one active public validator in the region. Pine Validator bridges this gap, offering education, accessibility, and a platform for brazilian artists and stakers to thrive in the Solana ecosystem.

We are a team of 3 passionate contributors from Brazil, combining expertise in software engineering, community management, and art direction to strengthen Solana’s adoption locally and globally.

Our Vision for the Validator

The Pine Validator 🌲 aims to be more than just a node securing the Solana network. Its mission is to reinvest into the Brazilian ecosystem through:

  • Education: Teaching users about staking SOL, blockchain fundamentals, and decentralization.
  • Artist Empowerment: Supporting creators in onboarding, minting, and thriving on Solana.
  • Decentralization: Operating a reliable validator node in Brazil, helping Solana become more resilient.

How We Will Execute Our Vision

Education Initiatives

  • Host Twitter Spaces, workshops, and community meetups to teach Brazilians about staking, NFTs, and the Solana ecosystem.
  • Develop onboarding guides and tutorials for users and developers.

Artist Support

  • Provide technical assistance for minting and selling NFTs on Solana marketplaces.
  • Give users their first SOL and NFT, empowering them to engage with Solana.
  • Host hackathons and NFT showcases to highlight Brazilian artistic talent.

Events

  • Organize events such as hackathons, art exhibitions, and community showcases to drive awareness and adoption.

Validator Revenue Allocation

To ensure sustainable growth and maximum community impact, Pine Validator revenue (after covering server and vote costs) will be reinvested as follows:

Allocation Purpose
1/3 Onboarding users and educational initiatives.
2/3 Reinvestment into the validator (upgrades, stability & self staking). Staff compensation and covering extra operational expenses.

This transparent structure ensures the validator remains sustainable while actively contributing to the Solana community. Any future changes to this structure will be communicated in advance with stakers and supporters to maintain transparency and trust.

Impact on the Solana Ecosystem

By running a validator in Brazil, Pine Validator will:
- Increase SOL staking among Brazilian users.
- Onboard creators and users, driving growth and visibility for Solana.
- Enhance decentralization by expanding Solana’s validator presence in an underrepresented region.

Brazil has immense potential to contribute to Solana’s network, and Pine Validator is committed to making this a reality.
